1 | Remove engine cover | ||
2 | Disconnect the electrical connector at the pressure sensor (B48/4) | The electrical connector is located at the air filter housing (4) on the left. | |
3 | Dismantle hose from engine air intake duct upstream of air filter | Remove the left and right hose | |
4 | Slacken hose clamps (2) at engine air intake duct downstream of air filter (3) | Installation: Check hose clamps (2), replace if required. | |
5 | Remove bolt (1) | Bolt connecting air filter housing to cylinder head cover | |
6 | Pull air filter housing (4) out of the engine air intake duct downstream of the air filter (3) | ||
7 | Pull air filter housing (4) up and out | Installation: Check the correct seating of the rubbers in the bottom bracket for the air filter housing (4) and coat with liquid lubricant (Naphtolen H). | |
