1 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key | ||
2 | Remove engine air intake duct (1) | ||
3 | Disconnect electrical connection from pressure sensor downstream of air filter (B28/5) | ||
4 | Loosen clamp (2) | ||
5 | Detach electrical connection (3) from air filter housing (4) and place to one side | ||
6 | Disconnect electrical connections at ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) | The ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) remains on the air filter housing (4). | |
7 | Remove air filter housing (4) upwards out of rubber guides | Installation: Apply lubricant to the rubber guides. Press air filter housing (4) evenly into the rubber guides. | |

8 | Remove pressure sensor downstream of air filter (B28/5) | When replacing air filter housing (4). | |
Installation: Replace sealing ring. | |||

9 | Check rubber guides for wear and damage | Replace rubber guides if necessary. | |
10 | Install in the reverse order |
