ME-SFI [ME] control unit

 

Remove/install

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key

Remove engine air intake duct (1) upstream of air filter

Loosen clamp (2)

Detach ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) at air filter housing (3) and place to one side with attached lines

 Check seal between air filter housing (3) and ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) for damage and replace if necessary.

Unclip engine wiring harness on air filter housing (3) and place to one side

Remove air filter housing (3) upwards out of rubber guides

 Installation: Apply lubricant to the rubber guides using a suitable tool. Press air filter housing (3) evenly into the rubber guides.

Check

Check rubber guides for wear and damage

 Replace rubber guides if necessary.

Install in the reverse order
