1 Drill out damaged thread to a 5.2 mm Ø .
2 Cut the thread M7 using the tap from the Helicoil repair kit box.
3 Screw guide sleeves (6, 7) onto spindle (1).
4 Screw Helicoil insert (2) onto spindle (1).
The anti-twist lock (3) at the Helicoil insert (2) must be adjacent to the spindle stop (1) (see magnified section).
5 Turn guide sleeve (6) up to Helicoil insert (2) and secure with guide sleeve (7).
6 Screw Helicoil insert (2) with the spindle (1) into the cylinder head.
The Helicoil insert (2) must lock flush at the top with the bore.
7 Detach anti-twist lock (3) for Helicoil insert (2).
