Risk of explosion caused by escaping natural gas or overheated compressed-gas tanks when working on natural gas powered vehicles. Risk of frostbite to parts of the body caused by escaping natural gas and by touching components near the valves when emptying compressed-gas tanks. Risk of poisoning or risk of suffocation caused by inhaling natural gas.

Remove any sources of ignition.

Ensure that the work area is adequately ventilated.

Wear heat protective gloves.

Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted

Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut.

Remove electropneumatic pressure converter (Y87)

Remove bracket (6) from gas engine (A85) control unit



Release and disconnect electrical connectors (4, 5) at MR control unit, gas engine (A85)

 Release by pressing or swiveling the release pin.

Remove gas engine (A85) control unit (MR) from the crankcase.

 The MR control unit, gas engine (A85) must not be disassembled.

 Installation: Insert all damper rubbers (2) in the gas engine control unit (MR) (A85). Observe the installation position of spacer sleeve (1) and spacer (3).



 Only if a new gas engine (A85) control unit has been installed.
