Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read fault memory

 The vehicle battery must not be disconnected during the test work.

Select "category UNIMOG"

Select "current fault code"

 Fault codes relevant to exhaust emissions (OBD NOx control fault code) may only erased after carrying out the corresponding troubleshooting and upon the express instructions of STAR DIAGNOSIS.

If this procedure is ignored, this inevitably leads to a renewed occurrence of the fault code.

Select the corresponding fault code and follow the further instructions of STAR DIAGNOSIS

 It is essential that all test steps are processed completely, even if a fault has been found in the meantime. After the complete processing of the test steps a 4-digit random number, the 8-digit ID code and calculation type XN is displayed in STAR DIAGNOSIS.

Enter the 4-digit random number, 8-digit ID code and the calculation type XN in the VeDoc

 To carry out the work an access authorization for VeDoc is required.

After entering the data, the VeDoc outputs a 12-digit encrypted random number.

Enter 12-digit encrypted random number in STAR DIAGNOSIS and confirm with "F3"

 When the entry is correct the fault code and the torque limitation possibly connected with it is erased automatically.
