Loose and separate the fuel return line (1) at the fuel level sensor. 

 Collect properly the drained fuel.

Remove the O-ring on the fuel return pipe coupling (1).

Prolong the fuel return pipe (1) with a transparent hose (2), drive the end of this to a measuring vessel (3) suitable.

 The measuring vessel (3) must have the capacity of 4 to 5 liters and be graduate.

Start the engine and let it run for perform the collect of fuel on the measuring vessel (3).

 After 1 minute of idling (560 rpm) or 30 seconds in regulating rotation (2080 rpm), turn off the engine. A slight bubble formation in the return fuel is normal.

Read the measuring scale of the vessel (3) and compare with the prescribed values.

Remove the fuel transparent pipe (2).

Replace the O-ring on the fuel level sensor and install the fuel return pipe (1).
