Remove the fuel line (5) from the fuel filter housing (6).

 Collect properly the drained fuel.

Install the  test device (1) with  high pressure hose (2),  ring piece with external thread (4),   double hollow bolt M161,5 (3) and the fuel line (5) on the fuel filter housing (6).

 In vehicles with Code (M89) flame system (FLA), do not connect the fuel line for the flame system during the test.

Start the engine and let it in operation.

Perform the measurement and read the  fuel pressure in the test device (1).

 Perform measurement in idle speed (560 rpm) or in the compensating rotation (2080 rpm).

Turn off engine.

Remove the test device (1) with the high pressure hose (2).

 In the event that the low pressure fuel circuit is checked for leaks, do not remove the test device (1) with the high pressure hose (2).

Install the fuel line (5) and, if present, the fuel line of the flame system. 

 Replace sealing rings.
