1 | Run engine | Until a coolant temperature 60°C is reached. | |
2 | Turn off engine | ||
3 | Loosen mounting bolts on intermediate flange (1) and support (2) | ||
4 | Connect handheld tester (HHT) | Attach handheld tester (HHT) to adjust the start of injection to the diagnostic socket. | |
5 | Run engine | ||
6 | Adjust menu point "injection timing device actuations" on handheld tester (HHT) | ||
7 | Set start of injection using the handheld tester (HHT) and the adjustment screw (3) on the intermediate flange (compare actual value with specified value; both are displayed in the HHT). | To the right = start of injection later To the left = start of injection earlier | |
8 | Tighten bolt (2) on support. | | |
9 | Tighten bolts (1) on intermediate flange | | |
10 | Read out fault memory with hand-held tester (HHT) and erase if necessary | ||
11 | Allow the engine to run, then stop and check leaktightness |
