1 Attach cranking device to inspection hole at timing case.
2 Crank engine until the start of delivery marking on the flywheel (1) is aligned with the edge of the inspection hole (2).
Check whether cylinder 1 is positioned at ignition TDC (at ignition TDC both valves of cylinder 1 are closed).

3 Remove screw plug at inspection hole (3) of injection pump.
4 Position marking at drive gear of injection pump against the marking in the inspection hole (3).
5 Tighten bolts (4) fully.

6 Push new seal onto the flange of the injection pump.
7 Align injection pump and screw in securing bolts (4).
8 Insert screw plug at injection hole (3) of injection pump.
