Remove/install

Perform commissioning of CDI control unit (N3/9).

When replacing the CDI control unit (N3/9).



Clamp off ground line of on-board electrical system battery (G1).

Remove screws (1) at CDI control unit (N3/9).

 Bolt, control unit to air filter housing upper part

Release and disconnect electrical connectors (2) at CDI control unit (N3/9).

 The electrical connectors (2) are coded and cannot be interchanged.

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
