Connect up STAR DIAGNOSIS and read data from old ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) into STAR DIAGNOSIS. | |||
Installation: Transfer stored data to the new ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10). | |||
1.2 | Turn key in ignition lock to position "0" | When ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) is reused. | |
2 | Remove air filter housing | ||
3 | Move shift interlocks of electrical connectors at ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) in direction of arrow, and disconnect electrical connectors from ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) | ||
4 | Pull out ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) upwards out of right control unit bracket (1a) and left control unit bracket (1b) | ||
5 | Detach ball-type support braces (2) from ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) | When replacing the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10). | |

6 | If necessary, detach right control unit bracket (1a) and left control unit bracket (1b) from intake manifold | | |
