Remove/install

Start control unit replacement with vehicle diagnosis system.

When replacing the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10).



Switch off ignition and store transmitter keys outside of transmitter range (at least 2 m).

Disconnect ground line from battery.

Remove upper engine cover.

Remove screw/bolts (2) .

Release and disconnect electrical connectors (1).

Remove ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10).



Check

Check seal in air filter housing for correct seating and damage and replace if necessary.

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Read out and delete fault memory.


