Warning

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Clear the fault memory of the engine management (MCM) control unit.

Start engine.

Engine must run for at least 5 s.
No faults may be present in the engine management (MCM) control unit.

Increase the engine speed up to the maximum governed rpm and, once the maximum governed rpm is reached, activate the engine brake.
