Remove/install

Disconnect electrical connection (1)

Remove screw/bolts (2) from air filter housing (3)

 Screw/bolt, hot film mass air flow sensor to air filter housing

Remove hot film mass air flow sensor (4)

 Installation: Check seal (5).

Depending on findings



Replace hot film mass air flow sensor (4).

Install in the reverse order



 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear buttoned-up and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Check for leaktightness with engine running
