Remove/install

Remove engine cover

Disconnect electrical connection (1)

Remove screw/bolt (2)

 Screw/bolt, differential pressure sensor to bracket for differential pressure sensor

Loosen screw/bolt (3)

Remove pressure hoses (4) at diesel particulate filter

Only when removing the diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B28/12).


Do not remove pressure hoses (4) from diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B28/12).
Malfunction or damage can occur otherwise.

 Installation: Observe assignment of the pressure hoses (4); replace clamps.

Remove pressure hoses (4) from diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B28/12)

Only when replacing the diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B28/12).

 Installation: Note assignment of the pressure hoses (4).

Remove diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B28/12)

Install in the reverse order



Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
