Remove/install

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key

Unscrew fuel filler flap, unscrew tank lid and close them again

 in order to relieve pressure in the fuel tank.

Remove seat cushion in the rear

Remove cover for the left service opening

 Installation: Carry out leak test before installing the cover.

 Screw/bolt, cover to vehicle floor

Release and disconnect electrical connection (1) on pressure sensor (B4/7)

Pry out clamp (2) with screwdriver in direction of vehicle front

Pull fuel pressure sensor (B4/7) out of fuel filter (3)

 Installation: Replace O-ring (4) and apply lubricant paste.

Install in the reverse order

 Danger !

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
