Remove/install

Remove center and rear engine compartment paneling downwards

Detach differential pressure lines (1) on catalytic converter diesel particulate filter unit (2) and place to one side

 Union nut, pressure line to diesel particulate filter

Remove temperature sensor upstream of diesel particulate filter (B19/9)

 Coat thread of the temperature sensor upstream of diesel particulate filter (B19/9) with heat-resistant lubricant.

Paste, hot lubrication 1 kg, DBL 6879.20

Disconnect electrical connection for temperature sensor upstream of diesel particulate filter (B19/9) and expose electrical line

 The bracket is mounted on the oil pan top section.

Install in the reverse order



Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
