Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Raise vehicle.

Remove lower engine compartment lining

Remove underfloor paneling at left.

Thoroughly clean area around crankshaft position sensor (1).

Release and disconnect the electrical connector (2).

Remove screw (3).

 Screw, position sensor of crankshaft to timing case

Remove crankshaft position sensor (1).

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Read out and delete fault memory.



Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
