Remove/install

Disconnect electrical connection (1)

Loosen nut (2) by several revolutions

Unscrew nut (3)

 Nut, differential pressure sensor to bracket

Remove differential pressure sensor (4)


Do not remove hoses (5) from differential pressure sensor (4).
Malfunction or damage can occur otherwise.

 To do this, remove pressure hoses (5) from lines (6) of the diesel particulate filter.

 Installation: Observe assignment of the pressure hoses (5); install new clamps.

Install new pressure hoses (5)

If differential pressure sensor (4) is being replaced.

Install in the reverse order

Connect vehicle diagnosis system, clear fault memory, and perform initialization of the differential pressure sensor (4)

If differential pressure sensor (4) is being replaced.



Connect/disconnect diagnostic unit

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Check for leak tightness with engine running
