Remove nozzle holder combination (1)

 Mark nozzle holder assembly (1) in upper area relative to the respective cylinder.

Fill ultrasound nozzle cleaning equipment (2) with cleaning fluid and heat up to
60°C

 Observe the manufacturer's operator's manual.

Dilute cleaner in the ratio 1:2 with water (0.5 l clean and 1.0 l water), blend and in the ultrasound nozzle cleaning equipment pan (2) up to the marking (filling capacity about 1.5 l).

Insert perforated cover (3) into the
ultrasound nozzle cleaning equipment (2), place nozzle holder combinations (1) vertically into the perforated cover (3) and clean

 Observe safety information for the
ultrasound nozzle cleaning equipment (2).

Install nozzle holder combinations (1)

 The nozzle holder combination (1) must be mounted in the same engine again immediately after cleaning (at a maximum after
3 to 4 h) since it can become incapable of functioning due to rusting (clamping nozzle needle). This in turn can damage the engine when it is started.

 Observe markings.

 Danger!

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Purge fuel system by allowing the engine to run and then stop engine again

 The fuel system is bled automatically. If the engine does not start or only for a short time: repeat start process after a break of about 2 minutes.
