Remove threaded bushing (2) with respective Allen wrench from cylinder head (1).

Clean thread for threaded bushing (2) in cylinder head (1).

 Blow out threaded hole with compressed air and clean free of soiling.

Apply the adhesive Loctite 648 thinly and evenly on the new threaded bushing (2).

 Perform operation step 4 and 5 immediately after application of the adhesive Loctite 648.
The strength of the adhesive bond of the cylinder head (1) / threaded bushing (2) is not achieved otherwise.

Screw in new threaded bushing (2) up to the collar and check the screwed in dimension.

 Observe the reference value for tightening the threaded bushing (2).
Screwed in dimension, measured as of cylinder head cover sealing surface.

Caulk threaded bushing (2) with a suitable tool through a grain size (arrow).

Allow the threaded bushing (2) to harden in the cylinder head (1) for at least 6 h.

 Allow the adhesive Loctite 648 to harden for at least 6 h. Only install the fuel injector in the cylinder head (1) after curing the threaded bushing (2).
