Place assembly sleeve guide (8) over the selected valve springs and tighten with the bolt provided.
Place assembly sleeve (9) on an intake valve in the assembly sleeve guide (8).
Hook thrust fork (11) with attached extension on detent part (10) and lay on assembly sleeve (9).
Push thrust fork (11) slightly downwards (arrow C) until knurled screw (9.1) sits below with slight pressure.
Turn knurled screw (9.1) clockwise (arrow A) until the interior split tip of the knurled screw (9.1) noticeable latches between the collets.
Push thrust fork (11) downwards (arrow C) and leading the knurled screw (9.1) at the same time and hold thrust fork (11).
Turn engine carefully in the direction of rotation of the engine until the knurled screw (9.1) is in the highest position.
The knurled screw (9.1) is pressed upwards over the intake valve by the piston (arrow B). If the piston is at top dead center then the collets on this intake valve are automatically removed. Do not turn the engine over top dead center otherwise the intake valve can fall into the combustion chamber.
