| Disconnect electrical connector at intake camshaft valve lift switching actuator (Y49/8).

| Remove screw/bolt (1)
| Bolt, actuator for valve lift switchover to cylinder head cover

| Remove intake camshaft valve lift switching actuator (Y49/8) from mount on cylinder head cover
| Installation: Ensure correct installation position of the intake camshaft valve lift switching actuator (Y49/8). Replace sealing ring (2).
