Carry out setting of relevant valve bridges (3) only if engine is cold or fully warmed through. Wait at least 30 minutes after switching off the engine.
1 Clamp relevant valve bridge (3) in a vise, slacken jam nut (1) and remove adjusting bolt (2) about 3 turns.

2 Install valve bridge (3) over the guide pins at the cylinder head.
3 Push down valve bridge (3) until it is resting on the valve stem (arrow A).
4 Screw in adjusting screw (2) by hand with valve bridge (3) pushed down until it is resting on the valve stem (arrow B).
5 Tighten jam nut (1) by hand.
6 Remove valve bridge (3) from cylinder head.

7 Clamp valve bridge (3) in the vise.
8 Adjusting screw (2) and jam nut (1) .
9 Install relevant valve bridge (3) to cylinder head again via the guide pins.
