2 Inlet camshaft

3 Valve tappet

4 Magnetic lifter

Removing, installing

Remove exhaust camshaft (1) or inlet camshaft (2) over the relevant valve tappet (3)

Use magnetic lifter (4) to lift valve tappet (3) up and out


Installing: re-install valve tappet (3) at the same point

Inspecting

Inspect basic bore

Inspect surface of basic bore for scoring and damage, if necessary

replace cylinder head
