Remove center bolt (1)

 Insert counterholder (01) into belt pulley/vibration damper (2) and unscrew center bolt (1).



Pull off belt pulley / vibration damper (2)

 If it is not possible to pull off the belt pulley/vibration damper (2) by hand, it must be released with a puller: 

Detach belt pulley/vibration damper (2).

 Inspect belt pulley/vibration damper (2) for scoring. If signs of scores are present caused by the radial seal:



Replace front crankshaft radial seal and install in repair position.

 Align parallel key (3). Secure through rotary movement that the groove in the belt pulley/vibration

damper (2) matches the parallel key (3) in the crankshaft.

If axial runout or concentric running problems exist: 

Inspect belt pulley / vibration damper (2) for axial and radial runout.
