1 Push back sleeve (2) on punch (1)
2 Slightly grease O-ring on punch (1).
3 Push guide bearing (3) up to stop to punch (1).
The groove (arrow) should point away from the punch (1)

4 Move sleeve (2) on punch (1) until opening (arrow) in sleeve (2) is centered above the groove in the guide bearing (3).
5 Insert new retaining ring (4) through opening (arrow) into groove in guide bearing (3).

6 Continue to push retaining ring (4) through opening (arrow) into groove in guide bearing (3) with a screwdriver (5) until the two gaps in the retaining ring (4) are no longer visible.

7 Position sleeve (2) on punch (1) flush with guide bearing (3) on flywheel (6) and drive guide bearing (3) into flywheel (6) to end stop.
When knocked into guide bearing (3) sleeve (2) slides back on punch (1). The installation depth is determined by the spacer ring (7) installed.
8 Remove punch (1) and check, whether retaining ring (4) was damaged while driving in.
If retaining ring (4) was damaged the broken parts are located in the sleeve (2) in the punch (1).
If necessary remove guide bearing (3) and repeat steps 1 to 8 with new retaining ring (4).
