Read off manufacturer of the two-mass flywheel (3) on two-mass flywheel (3)



Measure

Turn the two-mass flywheel (3) at the positioning pin (1) clockwise against the end stop or resistance, then release the component


Do not overpressure the resistance upon reaching the end stop.
The actual value will be falsified otherwise.

Mark position of the flexible part of the two-mass flywheel (3) relative to the fixed part

Turn the two-mass flywheel (3) at the positioning pin (1) counterclockwise against the end stop or resistance, then release the component



Determine torsional play of the two-mass flywheel (3)

 For this purpose, count the gears on the flywheel ring gear within the position markings on the two-mass flywheel (3) and compare the values to the corresponding target values.
