Install front radial shaft sealing ring

Centering sleeve

Install front radial shaft sealing ring

Position radial shaft sealing ring (1) on timing case cover (2) and slightly press on.


Do not oil or grease crankshaft journal and sealing lip of radial shaft sealing ring (1).
Grease on inclined supports of sealing lip of radial shaft sealing ring (1) prevents engine oil from being returned to crankcase.

Slide centering sleeve (3) onto crankshaft.

Install radial shaft sealing ring (1) with centering sleeve (3) using a screw M18x80 (4).

Remove screw (4) and remove with centering sleeve (3).
