Constant-speed throttle removal and installation

Remove/install

Remove cylinder head

Remove nozzle holder combinations

Remove end cover (1) at cylinder head (10)

Installation: Install new O-rings (2).

Insert a suitable spacer (11) between valve disk and base

 Height of spacer approx. 5.3 mm.

Use pliers (12) to remove piston (4)



Installation: Oil piston and sealing ring (3) and avoid damaging.

Inspect sealing ring (3) at piston (4)

 If wear or damage present: 

Install new piston and sealing ring.

Remove locking wedges (5)

Compress spring with spring plate compressor (13) and remove locking wedges with magnetic pin (15).

Installation: Locking wedges must engage properly.



Relieve pressure on spring (7), take out top spring plate (6), spring and bottom spring plate (8)

 Do not mix up top spring plate and spring guide.
Installation: Fit spring guide, spring and spring plate onto the stem of the constant throttle valve.

Turn cylinder head (10) and pull out valve (9)

Mark valve.

Installation: Oil valve stem, push in valve and place spacer (11) (height approx. 5.3 mm) below valve disk.

Install in the reverse order
