Remove

Suction off engine oil



Remove lower engine compartment paneling

Remove bolt (1)

Push oil pan bottom section (2) off the oil pan (3) and remove to rear

Do not drive in any tools between oil pan bottom section (2) and oil pan (3) to loosen them.
The sealing surfaces can be damaged otherwise.

 If necessary, heat oil pan bottom section (2) in area of sealing surfaces with heat gun.



Clean

Clean sealing surfaces on oil pan bottom section (2) and the oil pan (3)

Do not use sharp-edged tools.
The sealing surfaces can be damaged otherwise.

Install

Apply sealing compound to sealing surface of oil pan bottom section (2)

Notes on sealant path for oil pan

 Observe notes on sealant path.

Place oil pan bottom section (2) on oil pan (3) and screw in screw/bolts (1a)

 Bolt, oil pan bottom section to oil pan

Pour in engine oil


