1 Unplug connector at hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5), plug in.

2.1 Engine without supercharger: remove air cleaner crosspipe, install.
3 Remove ignition cable duct cover, install.
4.1 Engines fitted with plastic intake manifold: unplug connectors (Tb1, Tb2) at the ignition coils (T1/1, T1/2), plug in.
4.2 Engines fitted with aluminium intake manifold: unplug spark plug connectors at the spark plugs, plug in.

5 Remove cover of coolant thermostat housing, install.
6 Remove cable straps of engine wiring harness at suspension eye, attach.
7 Unplug connector of coolant temperature sensor (B11/4), plug in.
8 Engines fitted with camshaft adjustment: unplug connector of camshaft timing solenoid (Y49), plug in.
9.1 Engines fitted with camshaft adjustment: unplug connector of camshaft position sensor (L5/1), plug in.

10.1 Engines fitted with supercharger: unplug connector (H) at actuator (M16/7) of air flap switchover / air cleaner, plug in.
11.1 Engines fitted with supercharger: unplug connector at compressor magnetic coupling, plug in.

12.1 On engines with secondary air injection: unplug connector at switchover valve (Y32).

13 Separate plug connection before TWC O2 sensor (G3/2x1), connect.
Model 163: the plug connection is located at the rear of the cylinder head.
