4 | Check profiled seal of the cylinder head cover (3) for leakage | If no leakage is determined, the profiled seal of the cylinder head cover (3) can be reused. | |
5 | Remove cylinder head cover (3) | The screw/bolts for the cylinder head cover (3) are secured from falling out. | |

6 | Clean cylinder head cover (3) and rocker arm frame over the whole circumference and on its sealing surface | ||
| Install | ||
7 | Install new profiled seal in the cylinder head cover (3) | Only if the profiled seal of the cylinder head cover (3) is leaky. | |
8 | Install cylinder head cover (3) | Bolt tightening procedure for cylinder head cover | |
Pay attention to tightening procedure for screw/bolts. | |||
