Remove/install

Remove engine with front axle carrier

AR01.10-P-2500MRD

Detach oil cooler at fan unit, place to one side with attached lines and fix to engine

Detach lower refrigerant high-pressure line at condenser and close off openings with a suitable stop plug

 Nut/bolt, refrigerant line to condenser

Disconnect remaining coolant hoses between engine and radiator package

Remove radiator package from bracket at front axle carrier

Hook load tilter into the engine suspension lugs and hook in engine hoist

 Commercially available devices/tools
Engine crane
Load tilter

Remove tensioning strap for engine transmission unit

Secure front axle carrier on lifting platform with tensioning strap against slipping and falling down



Only raise engine sufficiently until the engine mounts are not under tension

Remove front axle shafts

Remove screw/bolts of left and right front engine mount from left and right engine support

 Bolt, front engine mount to engine support

Lift off engine transmission unit from front axle carrier

Install in the reverse order

 Engine mount, engine support (engine side)
