Turn engine at the center bolt with the   socket wrench socket in the direction of engine rotation until the marking on the belt pulley (2) matches the marking on the engine (1).

 Do not turn engine against the direction of engine rotation.
Otherwise, the timing chain will jump and engine damage will occur.

 Check the precise alignment of the marking on the belt pulley (2) and the marking on the engine (1) using a mirror.
