1 Remove cover of left fuse and relay box in engine compartment.
Installation: Check rubber seal in cover, replace if necessary The cover must be seated in the groove at the rear.
2 Disconnect plug (1) at driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).

3 Plug adapter cable (2) in the plug position 5 of plug (1).

4 Connect adapter cable (2) with cable (3)
for compression recorder.
5 Attach connecting clamp (4) for compression recorder on driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
