Pull out seat belt fully, check for damage

Check for severed fibers, chafing marks or other damage.

If complaint is reported, process under separate order:

Replace seat belt



Remove/install seat belt (front seat)

Check seat belt for twisting

If the belt behind the trim panel is twisted, then proceed as follows (separate work order): 

Remove/install trim panel



Remove/install paneling on B-pillar

 Only for model 461.331 without protection kit and without rotary ring on roof.

Check locking function of inertia reel by rapidly unwinding belt

If complaint is reported, process under separate order:

Replace seat belt



Remove/install seat belt (front seat)

Check that seat belt buckle engages correctly

If complaint is reported, process under separate order:
