Seat belt clasp

Check for the buckle allows insert smoothly the locking tongue and provides a secure engagement for the same.

Press the release button and release the tongue.

Check for the buckle is deformed, cracked or damaged.

Check that there is no accumulation of dirt, which may hamper the insertion and locking of the tongue.

Clasp rod

Check carefully the buckle cable (versions may include steel cable, metal rod or shoelace).

Steel cable: It can not present faults in the cover, sharp deformation, broken wires, exposed wires or partial or total cable break.
Metal rod: Can not present sharp deformation or cracks or signs of oxidation.
Belt: Can not show cuts, sharp wear or sharp discoloration.
