Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.

Start engine

Switch on air conditioning

See air conditioning operator's manual.

Switch off air conditioning system and engine after 5 minutes

Open tailgate

After a waiting period of 5 minutes check the oil level through the inspection glass (7) of the refrigerant compressor (5)

The oil is correct when the oil level in the inspection window (7) is in the high range.

If the oil level is too low check the refrigerant compressor (5) for external leaks.

Once it is certain that there are no leaks in the refrigerant compressor (5) correct oil level subject to separate repair order:
