1 | Open left front maintenance flap (1) | ||
2 | Detach cover (2) from heater housing (3) | Bayonet lock. | |
3 | Pull out filter cartridge (4) | Clean filter element and replace if necessary. After being installed the marked side must point towards the heat exchanger. | |
4 | Push in filter cartridge (4) | Ensure that the filter cartridge is correctly positioned. | |
5 | Close left front maintenance flap (1) | ||
6 | Remove protective grille (5) | The protective grille is secured by 4 screws which are located behind the disks. | |
7 | Remove filter element (6) | Clean filter element under flowing water and dry with compressed air. | |
8 | Install filter element (6) | Ensure that the element is correctly seated in the air shaft. | |
9 | Mount protective grille (5) | Use a magnetic screwdriver. |
