Check

Check the elastic components (A) and the rubber wiper blades (B) for the wipers.
Should it be necessary, replace them.

Turn ignition key to the ON position.

Check the windshield wiper operation in the intermittent position, low speed (position I), high speed (position II).
On chassis 634.0 and 693.1, check also INT function (intermittent).
4
Check the operation of water jets
Pressing the combination switch (arrow 2).
The water jets should be aimed at the top part of the wiper blade sweep.
