Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Depressurize hydraulic system completely before starting any work on system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.

Start engine

Retract all hydraulic cylinders that are work-hydraulic operated

 No hydraulic cylinders may be extended, as otherwise the oil reservoir may be overfilled.

Turn off engine

Remove oil filter cover (1)

Replace oil filter element

Dispose of used oil filter elements in an environmentally compatible manner.

Screw in oil filter cover (1)

Remove drain screw (2) and drain oil

 Collect oil in a suitable container and allow to drain completely.
Dispose of used oil properly and in a manner acceptable to the environment.

Screw in drain screw (2)

Open cap (3) and fill engine oil through filler opening

 The oil level must be located in the visible area of the inspection glass (4).

Do not fill beyond the visible area of the inspection glass (4).



Close cap (3)

Check hydraulic system for leaks.

 Visual inspection.
