Work step Remove trim on center piece in front of windshield taken away

Remove/Install

No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Remove air filter housing

Release fuel filter (1) from the tensioning strap (2) and detach fuel hoses (3) from fuel filter (1)

Remove fuel filter (1)

Install in the reverse order

Switch the ignition on and off three times

For filling the fuel filter (1).

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near engine

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.
