2 | Remove the threaded cap (1) from the fuel filter housing utilizing an socket wrenchSW36 | Remove the threaded cap (1) with the filtering element (3) only after draining the fuel from the fuel filter (5). | |
3 | Remove the threaded cap (1) with the filtering element (3) and exerting a lateral pressure detach the filtering element (3) | ||
4 | Lift out the dirt collector (4), by its loops, from the fuel filter (5) | Observe that the dirt retained in the collector do not get in contact with filter housing (5), do not empty the dirt collector (4) inside the filter housing (5) and under no circumstances clean it with a cloth, this could damage the fuel system. | |
5 | Clean the threaded cap (1) and the dirt collector (4) | ||

6 | Replace the sealing ring (2) | Lubricate the sealing ring with a thin coating of grease. | |
7 | Install the new filtering element (3) in the threaded cap (1) | ||
8 | Install the dirt collector (4) in the filter housing (5) | Pay attention to the correct installation position. | |

10 | Actuate the engine start-up and bleed the fuel system | Run engine for approximately 1 min. The system will perform the bleeding automatically. | |
11 | With the engine running, check the fuel filter tightness |
