1 Granulate cartridge

1.1 | Bleed the compressed-air drier by filling up the compressed-air system | Fill compressed-air system until pressure governor cuts out. | |
1.2 | Bleed the compressed-air drier by draining the compressed-air | Loosen line from compressed-air drier at connection "1", drain compressed-air, tighten line again. | |
2 | Unscrew granulate cartridge (1) | Granulate cartridges (1) which have been removed are to be treated as special waste due to deposited oil residues. | |

Alternatively, a strap wrench can be used. | |||

3 | Grease threaded trunnion and sealing ring of new granulate cartridge (1) lightly | ||
4 | Install new granulate cartridge (1) | Screw on granulate cartridge (1) by hand until the sealing ring abuts the housing. Then tighten the granulate cartridge (1) a further half revolution. | |
Enter replacement of granulate cartridge (1) in maintenance booklet. | |||

5 | Fill compressed air drier and test for leaks | To depressurize the compressed-air drier, fill the compressed-air system until the pressure regulator cuts out. |
