Remove

Bleed compressed air drier by filling compressed-air system or by releasing compressed air

By filling compressed-air system:

Fill compressed-air system until pressure governor cuts out.

By releasing compressed air:

Loosen line at connection "1" of compressed air drier, release compressed air and tighten line again.

Remove granulate cartridge (1)

 Removed granulate cartridges fall into the category of special waste due to the oil residues they contain, and must be treated the same as oil filters.



Install

Apply a thin coating of grease to seal (arrow) of new granulate cartridge and threaded pin

Screw on granulate cartridge (1) by hand until the seal touches the housing then tighten another half turn.

Pressurize compressed-air drier and check for leaks.

 Checking is only possible up to the air governor cut-off point.
