Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes.

Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Note down fluid level in brake fluid reservoir (1)

Unscrew cap (2).

Drain brake fluid reservoir (1)

Empty the chambers in the brake fluid reservoir (1) down to a fluid level of 10 mm.

Do not drain the brake fluid reservoir (1) completely.

Connect filler and bleeder unit.

Connect in accordance with the instructions from the equipment manufacturer.

Allow brake fluid to flow out at wheel brake; replace brake fluid

To do so, unscrew the brake bleeder valves on the floating brake caliper in the sequence rear right, rear left, front right and front left at the respective wheel brake. Allow approx. 80 cm3 of brake fluid to flow out at each wheel brake and then screw the brake bleeder valves back in.

Clear brake fluid free of bubbles must flow out of the bleed hose.

Allow brake fluid to flow out at clutch slave cylinder; replace brake fluid

Allow approx. 80 cm3 of brake fluid to flow out at the clutch slave cylinder.

Disconnect filler and bleeder unit

Correct fluid level in brake fluid reservoir (1)

It is essential to observe the noted-down fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir (1). Fill with new brake fluid.
