Oil change at wheel hubs



Renew all sealing rings



Drain oil while hot

Raise vehicle at the rear axle and place on jack stands

Clean area around screw plug (5)

Remove screw plug (5) and drain oil completely

 Turn the wheel hub so that the screw plug is pointing downward.

Fill rear wheel hub with new oil



 Turn the wheel hub so that the filler hole is pointing upward. Measure oil quantity exactly before filling.
The oil level in the wheel hubs does not need to be checked. The oil level is adjusted according to the fill volume in the axle housing.

Screw in screw plug (5)

Lower rear axle

Oil change at axle housing

Clean area around oil filler screw (1) and oil drain screw (2)

Unscrew and clean oil filler plug (1) and oil drain screw (2)

 Drain the oil completely.
Remove the wear debris from the magnetic plug of the drain screw.

Screw in oil drain screw (2)



Pour in oil up to bottom edge of oil filler opening


