Clean around the filling and drain screws (1, 2)

Caution

Risk of injury to skin and eyes due to handling of transmission oil. Health risk caused by swallowing transmission oil

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.

Remove drain plug (2) and drain the oil

Drain the oil while it is hot.

Clean surplus oil from the screw threads (2) and from the housing

Remove surplus oil from the screw threads (2) and from the housing with a clean and lint-free cloth

Install the drain screw (2) with sealing product

Refuel the rear axle center housing according to the prescribed refuel volume

For vehicles marketed outside of Brazil, the recommended lubricants should be consulted on the website http://bevo.mercedes-benz.com (Sheet 231.2).
